Frequently asked questions

When do the tours run?

Every Saturday and Sunday from May through August. During the season you can also book a private boat on weekdays.

What's included?

Sailing with a skipper and crew, safety gear and life vests, a briefing on the whales and the local wildlife, support during sightings, travel insurance, and a disposable rain poncho.

Are sightings guaranteed?

These are wild animals in their natural habitat, so sightings can't be guaranteed. That said, the odds are high in season — humpbacks migrate through the Ilhabela area on a regular schedule.

How does payment work?

Book online, and our team will reach out by email or WhatsApp to arrange payment.

Can I swim with the whales?

No. Humpback whales are a protected species in Brazil. Our boats keep a safe distance so we don't disturb the animals — watching is done from on board only.
